Terms / 17 October 2026
Terms, in plain English.
These terms cover your use of Specframe: the content platform at create.specframe.co.uk, the learner app at app.specframe.co.uk, the Specframe MCP server and the Specframe Studio toolkit. By signing in or connecting an agent, you agree to them.
Who we are
Specframe is provided by Mathsy Education Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 13408984), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. In these terms, “we” means Mathsy Education Ltd and “you” means the person or organisation using Specframe.
Accounts and organisations
You sign in with Google. Keep your account secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it. If you create an organisation, you are responsible for who you invite and the roles you give them. Organisation owners and administrators can change members’ access and remove members.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you bring to or create in Specframe, including source material, lessons, questions, images and videos. You give us permission to store, process, render and display that content only as needed to run Specframe for you and the people you share it with. You confirm that you have the rights to upload and publish what you add, including third-party textbooks, past papers and images.
AI agents connected over MCP
You can connect your own agent, such as Claude Code or Codex, to your workspace. The agent acts on your behalf within the access you approve when you connect it, and you are responsible for what it does with that access. The agent runs on your own model allowance; Specframe does not charge for MCP access. Changes still go through change requests and checks, and review and publication need the permissions you or your organisation grant. You can revoke a connection at any time in Specframe’s MCP settings.
Specframe Studio and concept videos
Specframe Studio runs on your own computer. It uses your own AI agent and your own ElevenLabs account for narration, under those providers’ terms and at your cost. Videos you upload stay private until a reviewer in your workspace merges the change request that publishes them.
Publishing to learners
If you make a course visible to learners, you are responsible for its accuracy and suitability, and for having the right to publish it. AI-generated material should be checked by a person before learners rely on it. If you run a white-label learner app, your agreement with us and your own terms with your learners also apply.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Specframe to break the law, infringe others’ rights, publish harmful or misleading material, try to reach workspaces you haven’t been given access to, probe or overload the service, or get around rate limits and usage caps. We may suspend access that puts the service or other customers at risk.
Fees and paid plans
Signing in, a personal workspace, creating projects and MCP access are free. Pro costs £49 per organisation per month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your organisation’s billing settings; Pro then continues to the end of the period you have paid for. We don’t refund part periods except where the law requires. Prices are in pounds sterling, and VAT is added at checkout where it applies. We will give you 30 days’ notice of any price change.
A new organisation gets a 14-day free trial of Pro from the day it is created, and no card is needed to start. When the trial ends, publishing change requests and Video Studio pause until you upgrade. You can still read and edit your drafts, submit change requests and export your content, which stays yours.
Done-for-you course production, white-label apps and other paid services are agreed in a separate written proposal or agreement, which governs that work.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Specframe available and your content safe, but we provide it as it is and can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or retire features. We will tell you about changes to these terms that materially affect you before they take effect.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue or data. Our total liability to you is limited to £100 or, on a paid plan, the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending your use
You can stop using Specframe at any time and ask us to delete your account. Export anything you want to keep first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Questions about these terms: novica@specframe.co.uk.
